About Adoption has been designed as a developing resource for anyone with an interest in learning about adoption from the ground up.
Sandra Hanks Benoiton is providing a solid base of information, discussion of adoption ethics, and the considerations vital to the early stages of the process as she shares personal experience as an adoptive parent and references gathered over her years of writing professionally on the topic.
Content will be added almost daily, and as the blog grows the subject matter will broaden in scope at the same time it will focus more narrowly on specific aspects of adoption.
About Adoption is meant to be a dynamic site, so input, questions, opinions, observations, requests for specific information and such will be more than welcome. You can comment on a specific post or contact the author directly.
Stop by for a look, and if you know someone considering building their family through adoption, please guide them to About Adoption.

WebbleYou is pleased to announce the launch of Bike Diva, a blog for all cycling enthusiasts to enjoy. Mountain biking, road biking, freak bikes, charity bike rides, bike gear and more are all subjects that are covered on the Bike Diva site.
Although the Bike Diva owns three different types of bikes, a beach cruiser, a mountain bike and a road bike, she is mostly a roadie. No one will ever mistake her for a hammerhead. Her preferred speed of travel while riding her road bike is in the 18-21 MPH range, with occasional bursts up to 26-30 MPH.
The Bike Diva and her husband participate in various charity road bike events including the MS150, Frank Stark Celebration Ride and century rides with the Leukemia Societies Team In Training program.
Her day job entails writing freelance copy for different print publications and online content providers. In her free time she likes to play with beads, art clay silver and fused glass.
WebbleYou is pleased to announce the launch of DVD Boutique:
The DVD Boutique is to films what MP3 blogs are to music: a highly personal view on an art form, in this case quality cinema available on disc, a record of the editor‘s film viewing on DVD.
Editor Antonio Pasolini is an Europe-based film writer, video artist, author and curator. He is the editor of the film website Kamera.co.uk, one of the longest-running independent online salons of film discussion. The DVD Boutique is his advice platform for those interested in arthouse, vintage, cult and independent cinema from anywhere in the world.
Far from being a definitive, specs-obsessed guide to DVD releases, this blog is a highly subjective but also informative journey through art cinema. Enjoy.
WebbleYou is proud to announce the launch of Simple Family Trees, a new blog by genealogy researcher Nancy Hendrickson. Nancy is a contributing editor for Family Tree Magazine, and is the author of four books, including Finding Your Roots Online, a guide to using the Internet for genealogy research.
At SimpleFamilyTrees.com, you’ll find informative articles on both family history research and American history; researching an American family is much easier when we know the events that occurred during our ancestors’ lives, so short articles on historical events and people are included.
